Coastal Living: Designing on Saint Simons Island, Georgia

If you head down I-95 South, you will come to the
town of Brunswick, Georgia. This is the gateway to the Golden Isles of Georgia.

I always get a happy feeling as we head across the highway
to St. Simons Island. It is a sure cure for instant stress relief!

There are so many things to do on the island, you can
even create your own fun!
In March and December I take the Home Tours on Saint Simons
and Sea Island. I have shared pictures from these tours with you.
There are many talented designers on Saint Simons, so with the arrival
of Summer I want to take a look at some of their fabulous
examples of Coastal Design.

I love all the sea glass colors used in the above rooms,
that were designed by Georgia Carlee.

This charming area was created by Georgia Coast Design
and Construction.

One designer I have admired, from seeing her work on the home
tours, is Mary Bryan Peyer. The five rooms above show how
versatile her design style can be.

Lisa Torbett of Lisa Torbett Designs is another designer
that has an exceptional style and
attention to details.

Architect Keith Summerour, he also has Atlanta connections,
does a Mediterranean style inside and out.

Valerie Biritz has quite a flair using different design styles.

Cameron Drinkwater Interiors is well know for her classic design
style on Sea Island.

Harrison Design is another company with Atlanta connections.
Wouldn't you love to have one of these outdoor spots?

I hope you have enjoyed these beautiful rooms that
are on the Golden Isles. As Summer continues we will
take a look at other coastal areas and see their designs too!
