There is No Place Like Home for the Holidays Part 2

Oh! There's no place like home for the holidays,
'Cause no matter how far away you roam,
When you pine for the sunshine of a friendly gaze,
For the holidays you can't beat home sweet home!

It is time to continue on our tour of the Holiday House
with the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyle Magazine.
You can go back and see
We had stopped for a break in the sitting area of
the Master Bedroom.

Here is another shot of the Master Bathroom.

And what lady of the house wouldn't love to have
this closet!

Before we head upstairs, we want to be sure
and see the downstairs powder room.

I love the Powder room wallpaper and how
the designer used the sconces on the paper.

Everyone around me had wonderful comments
about the carpet that was used on the
stairway runner!

What young lady wouldn't love having this
parrot green, hot pink and turquoise bedroom?
This older gal would love it!

I am all gaga over this wallpaper!
What a fun area!

Young or old who wouldn't love this children'a
loft sleeping/play area!

This children's play area was the one room I
just  could not fall in love with. It may have
just been me, but the patterns and proportions
were just to much! I can see some hyper children!

This was a wonderful gallery area. I love
a great grouping of different art styles!

After all the fun colors and patterns, this
bedroom offered a wonderful calm retreat.

A lovely guest bath with a mix of
old and new.

New floor and old rug!

Ralph Lauren would feel right at home here
in this sitting area.

A client asked me the other day if her
covered drapery pole was dated. I can truthfully say
that I saw them in the most recent show house!

What young man wouldn't feel at home here?
Loved all the subtle Christmas decorations
in the rooms.

Nice masculine feel to this bath.

I would love to have this upstairs, craft and
laundry room. What a great place to work!

This is the ladies retreat at the top of the back stairs.
Do you think the 15,000 square feet might have
something to do with all of the sitting areas?

I know it was December, but the pool area was very sparse and
was not my favorite outdoor area.
You can see the outdoor porch where I would
spend my outside time in Part 1 HERE

That concludes our Home for the Holidays Tour.

I hope each and everyone of you have a very
Merry Christmas and that you have
special times to share the meaning
of Christmas with your family and friends.

*I am trying to use larger pictures for this blog post. I hope they don't over power, but
there were a lot of details I didn't want you to miss.
