It is time to continue with the second part of our
Christ Church Tour.
We will get on a new bus at Gascoigne Bluff on Saint Simons.
This bus will take us out to one of the newer areas on
the island.
This area is Frederica Townhship. It is on the north end of
Saint Simons. One visit here and it is evident why
the private gated community is the pinnacle of
Southern Coastal real estate. To read more click here
Tour Stop #5 on the map has a wonderful front porch
to sit and relax. This welcoming home is on the
lake at Frederica.
This is the center of the circular driveway
in front of the house.
Love the panels and doors in this room.
Off the entrance to the house.
From the living area to the mudroom
I love this bathroom idea! The floor area is sunk and the tub
is placed in large decorative stones. It makes an in and out
less challenging!
Tour Stop # 6 is another beautiful home in Frederica.
It is located on a lagoon in the back.
This home was designed for entertaining.
Attention to detail is everywhere!
Especially in the wine lounge which features
two wine towers. Don't miss the curved brick ceiling!
Loved this back splash!
This back porch with the glass fireplace is where I
would like to curl up and read!
Our last stop is in a lovely area near the pier called
Village Oaks. I looked for a picture of the outside of
this house, but no luck.
This is the great room with white ship lap walls,
which continue through out the house.
The easy maintenance of the flooring, countertops and fabrics
make this the perfect house for a busy family.
The dining area offers plenty of seating for the family or entertaining.
The downstairs powder room has touches of the ocean.
Especially of interest is the mirror over the vanity!
Outside this home you will find one of
the islands famous tree spirits.
This wraps up our 63rd Christ Church Tour of Homes.
Thank you for joining me on this years tour.
I am already looking forward to next years tour!
